About 9 am polish time presidential plane with the most important people in Poland on the board crashed. Polish president - Lech Kaczynski, his wife and all other members of the flight died. Plane tried to land about 4 times in hard, thick fog conditions. Official polish delegation with president Kaczyński ahead wanted to a take a part in 70th anniversary of Katyn massacre. Nobody survived this tragedy.

March 26, 2010 at the Youth Culture House in Rzeszów was a ceremonial of sixteenth edition of the Urban Local Government Competition for Teen "Magnificent Eight". One of the winners was a student of our school - Ewelina Gniewek.

Rzeszow was among the municipalities nominated in this year's "Poland Now". The aim of this edition of the contest is to select and award the emblem "Poland Now" the best in terms of economy and attractiveness for residents and business communities in Poland.

In spring of 1940, the NKWD murdered held in camps in the Soviet Union nearly 19 thousand Polish officers, including from reserves. By historians estimate that half of the body constituted officers of the Polish Army. Reservists were also murdered a small minority of Polish pre-war intelligence layer.
